Brooke is a walking, breathing guide book to all things great about Oakland. An East Coast transplant who came for education at Mills but learned that here is where she belongs.

When people ask me to describe Alex, the answer is always, “He is a free-thinking liberal.” What is my definition of this? It’s about what triggers his attention and how he reacts to it.
