Referred by CRV - I use Harry Clark Plumbing religiously.  They’re Oakland-based and family owned. They are a large enough business that they can respond to emergencies and such, but the rates are reasonable.  I’ve been satisfied with all of the work they’ve done on my home — from changing out faucets — to a larger repair when my sump pump failed and flooded my basement.  They’ll be replacing my furnace in two weeks — and their estimate was $4,000 less than the next bid.

Comment from A.G. on 10/29/06 - I would not recommend Harry Clark Plumbing.  They’re overpriced and they put in some work for a neighbor that was spewing steam into our windows.  I practically had to threaten them to make them change it.  And they’ll charge you top dollar.  They  should be pulled from the list.
