You’ve never seen a neighborhood so happy to witness the opening of a grocery store. Farmer Joe’s is no ordinary grocer. It’s more the lux of grocers, meaning a good breadth of organic and vegan foods, green household supplies, a deli, a bakery, a fresh meat counter, and a farmer-style fruit and veggies section. I think their offering may be less expensive than Wholefoods as well. (Data is based on my very scientific approach… looking at my receipts.)

I have been a big supporter of FJ’s so far, but let’s get a few things straight.
They DO have a lot of expired inventory on their shelves. The store does seem a little untidy most of the time. They are more expensive than even Whole Paycheck. (Their cheese is ridiculous)
Their meat counter, especially seafood, looks unsafe. I still buy it, but the meat looks like it was cut with a saw. It is often grey too.
I am responsible for a church picnic and choose to purchase all of the items at FJ’s. I wish they would do a little bit more to make it a little less painful to shop there.
Expensive/expired/grey seafood doesn’t seem to be a good use of anyone’s money.
There’s more, but we’ll see if anyone even reads this! :)
