I’ve tested these Fatboy bean bags. They’re quite good, which surprised me because they’re so good-looking (normally you have to sacrifice one for the other). They really do work for sitting upright, which is not the case with most bean bags I’ve owned or used. The cover is nylon, so they’re easy to clean. Wipe. The main disadvantage is there isn’t another cover inside, so you have to pour out the filling and refill the bag again if you want to throw these in the washer. That is too bad. The company has a great reputation and boasts quality, which I agree with for the most part, but then they skip on the interior liner to make washing easy… A small detail that could have ranked this product ‘great’ instead of simply ‘good.’

I overcame that disappointment very quickly when I saw them on Overstock.com for only $84. This is a huge steal. One of my clients just bought a few of these for almost $200 each, and they thought that was a deal.

My husband and I paid full price for this bean bag, ashamedly. Our house is tiny and we could not get another chair situated correctly in our living room, so we went the bean bag route. Even at full price this bag is the bomb. My husband, who is 6’ 5”, finds it as comfortable as I do. I am 5’ 3”. It folds into a chair or lounger, with or without a fluffed up headrest. We use it all the time. Guests love it. We have had it about 2 years in the navy color you see there. And the key feature - dog hair does not stick to it. I kid tested it for durability too by letting my neighbor’s 5 year old pounce on it for an hour. It took the beating like a pro.
