lobby for more dog access

from Marilyn Miller

…about a dog park in Dimond Park.

In case you’ve not visited the dimondnews.org Message Board recently, here’s a link to the discussion initiated at a DIA meeting in Sept. 05, and continued at meetings of the Dimond Park Advisory Council.

Timely, perhaps, in that an O’DOG Alert received today, announces that the City has scheduled meetings for park users to express their views about anything related to parks…recreational activities, maintenance, dog parks (!).  I haven’t seen the schedule yet and couldn’t access it from the O’DOG link.  This is a good opportunity to lobby for more dog access to on and off leash areas.
