The Council is a committee of the Dimond Improvement Association. We serve as the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council for Oakland Police Beat 22x. The committee deals with crime reduction, disaster preparedness, fire protection, traffic & pedestrian safety in the Dimond area of central Oakland, California. (Congratulations to Edward Goehring for the site launch.)
